Marco Cioci gave an interview in French to Endurance-Info on his and Fisico's upcoming adventure.

The Monza race weekend starts tomorrow and continues through Sunday.

I'm not sure where Fisico finished in first practise, but at least he didn't crash. The #42 Strakka (Nick Leventis) hit a wall, which stopped the session for 15 minutes.

Fisico has not written about his performance yet but has posted a photo of his white and green Ferrari 488.

Fisico, Marco and James came 13th out of a field of 55 in pre-qualifying, which is not bad. Another Ferrari, the #72 SMP, was fastest.

Qualifying is at 8:50 am GMT / 9:50 am CEST / 10:50 am Finnish time tomorrow.

The race will be at 1:45 pm GMT / 2:45 pm CEST / 3:45 pm Finnish time tomorrow.

There's a free livestream of qualifying and the race powered by Dailymotion on the Blancpain GT website :D

Unfortunately the router stopped working at that point, so I still don't know how Fisico qualified.

I do know the #55 he was in had a fraught start to the race. Marco Cioci (who started) had to take to the grass to avoid a spinning Lambourghini.

As of 15 minutes ago, Fisico's car was 9th, just behind a #14 Jaguar. There's a #7 Bentley racing at the front despite having a black flag (and therefore being disqualified). The actual leader is the #72 SMP Ferrari.

I have no audio or video that works at the moment (they'll have to wait until it's cooler). There is 1 hour and 23 minutes to go.

James Calado is currently in the car and is currently 9th... ...make that 8th, as he's just passed Juncadella. He's already trying to pass an orange Lambourghini ahead.

James just passed the #27 Lambourghini (Pohlak) at the first chicane at Turn 1. He's 45 seconds away from the leader, but he's not being at all perturbed by this :) .

Next lap, James passes another car (this one was red) for 6th in class. Well done!

James is already investigating how to overtake the teal-coloured car in P5.

...and that's P5 taken off the teal car in Parabolica. Nice one!

James is now showing as 7th. Perhaps some of those he overtook were a lap down?

James' next targets are a pair of Mercedes cars - the #4 in 6th and then the #88 in 5th.

For those wondering, this is a video of the very messy start. I think Fisico will be in the car in 10-20 minutes', for the last phase of the race.

Some people have pitted. Also, the #32 Zakspeed has got a pit lane penalty and the #7 Bentley has finally pitted in order to obey the black flag.
