Alessandro Pier Guidi, in the #50 AF Corse, is the first driver to pit.

Fisico still leading last I checked. Am still trying to get live timing to add more context and find out how Toni's doing. (He's still in the race, but more than that, I cannot say).

Multiple drivers are now on their final track limits warning. I do not know if Fisico or any of his team-mates are among that number. However, it does mean some people have to be much more careful about their lines than others.

Bortolotti pits and Fisico does not. How much longer can Fisico stay out? (Note: it can't be more than another 14 minutes due to the rule about drivers having to change every 65 minutes or less).

Fisico was leading as of 2 minutes ago. Surely he has to pit this lap?

Viktor Shaitar (of the #72 Ferrari) and Rob Bell (of the #58 McLaren) both have drive-through penalties for disrespecting track limits.

Judging from the timing boards, Fisico will emerge from the pits 9th. However, he'll have established that the #55 Kapersky Motorsport is capable of doing complete stints to race speed, which none of the other leading cars has quite managed to do yet. This could be very valuable later in the race.

Apparently, Fisico nearly hit a pit wall when he came in >.< . However, he missed it, so when he got out of the car, he looked extremely pleased with his stint. As he should do :D

One of the BMWs has left the pit lane with a loose wheel. That won't help its prospects.

Marco Cioci, the new driver of the #55 Kapersky Motorsports car, is back up to 3rd, with both of those ahead having stopped earlier (the leading Pier Guidi's #50 AF Corse stopped 25 minutes prior to the #55, and Bortolotti's car stopped 20 minutes early). Things are looking good... ...even if I have no live timing or commentary at the moment to say how good.

Daily Sportscar has an account of the first hour. I particularly like how the photo highlights the brilliant start Fisico gave us; there's a good two car lengths between him and Bortolotti's car at Radillion, which is only the third corner of the Spa circuit!

Marco has just overtaken Alessandro Pier Guidi's #50 AF Corse. He's put the #55 Kapersky Motorsport 2nd, very close to the race-leading Bortolotti.

Somewhere in a shower of track limits penalties, Marco Cioci has closed the gap to Bortolotti to 0.8 seconds. The battle for the lead is on!

Marco remains 2nd for now, still in the thick of battle with Bortolotti.
