Yellow flag again! This time, it's the #86 Porsche (9th in GTE-Am) in the gravel. Fisico is still running in 6th.

Fisico has got past the #61 Clearwater and is now 6th in GTE-Am. He's over a second a lap faster than the GTE-Ams he is pursuing despite having to make way for a charging LMP1 car (the frequently-spinning Dragonspeed).

Fisico has taken 4 seconds out of the gap this lap, there are only 3 seconds between him and the #61 Clearwater (Saiwa, P28, 6th GTE-Am).

The #61 Clearwater that Fisico was chasing has pitted, and has exited 7 seconds ahead of Fisico. Expect them to be battling each other within 3 laps.

Fisico is 2-3 seconds a lap faster than those ahead. But the gap he was given to close is bigger than I thought - 1 minute and 20 seconds. This may take a while.

Anyhow, Fisico can stop worrying about that fine as he's just taken over the car. He's in P7 but the next 3 cars in the class are not far ahead. Forza Fisico!

Fisico and Thomas Flohr got fined 500 for failure to turn up to today's autograph session. I'm sure Fisico knows he had to attend these sessions, as he's attended more than a few of these in his career. Perhaps he and Thomas were missing for the same reason, given that they're on the same team? It seems Francesco made it to the autograph session as he did not receive a fine.

Racing has resumed at Shanghai! This is important as it makes it a full-point race. (We are only on lap 20, in case you are wondering).

...and the #10 LMP1 Dragonspeed is in the gravel again, delaying the withdrawal of the Safety Car. This is a very disrupted race. Thomas is keeping away from the drama, remaining 7th in GTE-Am under the Safety Car.
