Fisico is on the entry list for Le Mans, which will surprise nobody.

GTE-Am has had a BoP change for Le Mans. Fisico's Ferrari will be 4 kg lighter than before, but will have less power. That's less of a problem than it sounds because every GTE car has less power for this race.

Fisico on the plane before starting the Le Mans test. It is ongoing, but so far I have not been able to find any results for the #54 Spirit of Race he is driving.

Fisico and his friends have finished scrutineering (though there was one hiccup when there was a bomb alert - for an unattended bag - in one of the tents while Alonso's car was getting scrutineered). Today, there is an autograph session and a driver briefing.

Good luck trying to find Fisico in this year's grid photo. The Ferrari drivers appear to have been put on the second row, behind some rather tall LMP1 drivers. I think Fisico is 4th from the right, but am not 100% sure.

In other news, the old-spec Aston Martin has a 2 kg bigger fuel tank for this race. Everyone else in GTE-Am has the same car as in Spa... ...which will make things quite tricky.

Fisico and his friends set the second-fastest time in practise and had no problems whatsoever.

Tune in in 1 hour and 35 minutes (9 pm in Britain, 10 pm in France, 11 pm in Finland) for first qualifying coverage. Forza Fisico!

We also have notice of the starting drivers (PDF file) (along with a definitive entry list). Fisico will take the start of the Le Mans race, befitting his experience and speed.

Fisico is now qualifying. Though he has still found time to go to the gym and train on a stationary cycle with friends.

After 1 hour, the Spirit of Race is 3rd in class, despite Thomas Flohr (the slowest driver in the line-up) being at the wheel. He has now completed his mandatory night racing laps and has done a very good job.

With 20 minutes to go, Frederico Castellaci is doing his night laps and the #54 is 4th in class. It is clear that the aim is to have the attempt on pole done tomorrow night.

The Radio Le Mans pre-race show (click on the "Play" button to the right of the homepage, then click RS1) has started. I highly recommend using this to listen: it is free and will have live coverage of the entire race.

Spotters' Guide by Andy Blackmore is available, so we stand a chance of recognising our favourite cars. Fisico's is the #54, has an orange race number and is otherwise light grey with red speed stripes down the side. It has garage 51, which is near the end of the pit lane and is between the #51 AF Corse GTE-Pro and the #61 Clearwater GTE-Am car.

The #4 ByKolles (Dillman) has stalled on the start of the formation lap. It looks like it will start at the back.
