Qualifying has started. Still trying to find out where Fisico is in the field at the moment.

It turns out that Thomas Flohr qualified the car 8th out of the 9 GTE Am cars. Given his skill level at the start of the season, it's nice to see he's improved to the point where he defeated someone.

He will now start the car, and I assume that this is a deliberate strategy and the reason he went in the car for qualifying.

While I was looking for that result confirmation, I found an amusing video clip from the press conference. Fisico was in it, and judging from the laughter, he and his colleagues had had some serious questions - because when a Japanese schoolgirl asked them "What is your favourite sushi?", everyone started laughing. (Fisico's favourite sushi, in case you are wondering, is tuna and salmon, just like the questioner's). Later, they had a photo with the schoolchildren, and everyone looks happy. If you want some fun, try to find Fernando in this picture. (Finding Fisico is not difficult, as he's in the middle of the front row...).

Here is a photo of the nose of the #54 AF Corse.

More photos of Ferrari fans, including some with a Fisico flag.
