The #16 Lambourghini's engine has failed spectacularly. At least this car's driver was sensible enough to go off-track immediately.

The #85 Aston Martin in 7th has had a major problem and is now headed for the pits. James is up to 8th.

Unseen by me, Calado's had to garage the #55 Kapersky car :( It's now several laps down. Hope they at least get the car out because I'd like Fisico to finish at least 1 race out of the last 4...

The #55 is now 8 laps down and still in the pits. No word on the problem. Not sure if it is going to come out :(

Half the race to go - and no word on what happened to Fisico's car. Still trying to get an answer from the Kapersky Motorsport PR staff, which suddenly went silent just before the pit stop began.

It's over :(

The #55 Kapersky's engine has blown, ending any possibility of finishing this race. It must be a particularly rough time for Fisico, who through no fault of his own hasn't finished a race since April, and now won't until at least the 24 Hours of Spa in the middle of next month. I'm inclined to think sending a letter to him to encourage and motivate him would be a good idea.

One of the few good things that has come out of the weekend is that the Kapersky Motorsports official Twitter officer has seen the Fisico Fan Base - and likes what it sees:

That's a VERY cool blog :-D Is this yours?
